So for the past week I have been practising the side piercing kick every single day for at least half an hour. 

I have been trying to focus on holding my leg out in the straight position-
Before turning my hips to the side kick.

Although I have noticed a significant difference in my balance and ability to hold my front kick position, I still can't manage to get the turn right. As in it doesn't feel right. 
Not only this but because I've been focusing hard on holding my leg straight, whenever I attempt the full side piercing kick I don't get the components together properly and find myself stopping when my leg is extended forward.

This makes me anxious for Wednesday's training.
